The Return of Christ

Jesus In Clouds

Is Jesus about to return for the Church (His Bride)?  Consider the evidence of fulfilled prophecy. At least 48 major Messianic prophecies can be identified in the Old Testament. Jesus of Nazareth fulfilled each one. Yet there were many other prophecies Jesus also fulfilled. Endeavoring to determine the odds of such a phenomenon, mathematician Peter Stoner isolated eight of the major prophecies concerning Jesus. He then calculated the odds that any one person might have fulfilled them all. Stoner determined those odds to be one in 10 to the 17th power (one followed by 17 zeroes). Visualize the number this way: take this number in silver dollars and lay them across the state of Texas. They will cover the entire state, two feet deep. Now mark one of those silver dollars. Blindfold a man and tell him he can travel as far as he likes, but he must pick up one silver dollar. What are the chances he will pick the one you marked?  The same odds that the prophets would have had of writing those eight prophecies and having them all fulfilled in one person.  The chances of fulfilling 16 of the prophecies is 1 in 10 to the 45 power (1 with 45 zeros). When you get to a total of 48 prophecies, the odds increase to 1 in 10 to the 157 power (1 with 157 zeros). Keep in mind that Jesus did not just fulfill 8 prophecies; He fulfilled all prophecies given about Him exactly as they were written. Accidental fulfillment of these prophecies is simply beyond the realm of possibility. Jesus wants people to know when his return is near.  The signs he gave in the books of Matthew & Luke are occurring all around us and read like the daily news! The  prophecies written by the likes of Daniel, Ezekiel, etc. are also taking shape.  This site is dedicated to watching for the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to encourage those who have not accepted him as their savior to do so before it is too late and he comes like a “Thief in the Night”! (1 Thessalonians 5:2)
